Hello

Playing along in this month's Tiddly Inks challenge, animal magic.

I used the dog image from the Flying High Annabelle digs stamp.  I placed it in such a way to make it look like the balloons were lifting him off the ground.  The sentiment was from the Square Saying set from Simon Says Stamp.  I then coloured in the images with some copics and I was done.

Dino-mite

Thought that I would enter another card into this month's Paper Smooches challenge.

Another clean and simple card.  I stamped the dinosaur image from the Party Posse set, the palm tree image from the Summer Lovin set and the sentiment from the Huge Hugs set.  I used the concentric circle stencil from My Favorite Things sprayed with some yellow Mr Huey mist.  I then coloured in the images with some copics and mounted the dinosaur and one of the palm trees with some foam tape to give the scene a bit of dimension.

CAS(E) This Sketch #213

Here is my card for this week's CAS(E) this Sketch challenge.

For the main image of this card I used a stamp from WPlus9's Embroidered Bouquet stamp set.  I stamped it, along with the sentiment from the same set, with versamark on some black Hero Arts layering paper.  I then brushed on some different coloured perfect pearls over the versamark and set it all with a little bit of hairspray.   The photo is not doing the card justice, in real life those colours just pop!

I Dig You

Back again with my take on this week's MFT Sketch Challenge.

For this card I used a stamp from the You Gnome Me stamp set and coloured him with with copics, such a cute little guy.  I used the concentric circle stencil sprayed with some Mr Huey mist and stamped the sentiment on some green Hero Arts layering paper.

Aloha

Playing along in this week's MFT Sketch Challenge.

I used my copics to colour in the stamped images from the Polynesian Paradise stamp set.  I  thought that I would assembled the images in such a way as to make it look like the toucan was sitting in amongst all the flowers and leaves.  It was as a little fiddly but worth it, I'm happy with how it turned out...very tropical.

Lets Shell-ebrate

Hi All,

Dropping in quickly to share a card for this month's Paper Smooches challenge.

This month's theme is 2017's colour of the year, greenery.

I bought a set of prismacolour pencils a couple of weeks ago so I thought that I would crack them out.  I decided to do a clean and simple one layer card.  I stamped the turtle image and sentiment from A Little Lovin stamp set onto some kraft card stock, coloured in the little turtle with the prismacolours and it was done.  Quick and easy.

CAS(E) This Sketch #211

Hi All,

Sharing my card for this week's CAS(E) this Sketch challenge.

I though that I would use a die on this card rather than a stamp.  I used the wild blooms die from Memory Box on a piece of white card stock.  I adhered some Hero Arts layering paper in red and yellow behind each of the flowers, then mounted the panel onto a piece of green card stock.  I then stamped a sentiment from Papertrey Ink's 2012 Birthday Tags set and I was done!

Muse #205

Hi All,

Today I am sharing the card that I am entering into this week's Muse challenge.

I like that the main image of Muse's card comes from the top of the card and tapers off to leave a blank space at the bottom for the sentiment.  I decided to use this layout for my card.  I used the mehndi medallion impression plate from Papertrey Ink to create this layout and stamped the sentiment from the Natural Beauties stamp set, also by Paptertrey Ink.

Cherish

Here is my take in this week's CAS(E) this Sketch #210 challenge.

I used the Etched Flowers stamp from Hero Arts.  This stamp is definitely a "go to" for me, I absolutely love it.  The sentiment is from Hero Arts Best Wishes set.  I put a bit of pattered paper behind the main panel and adhered it, slightly off centre, with some foam tape.
