CAS(E) This Sketch #24

Hi All,

I am dropping in tonight to share my entry into this week's CAS(E) this Sketch challenge.  Let me tell you, this card was epic!  Nothing was going right for me!  Has anyone else had that problem?  By the time I got it finished it was dark so I apologise for the bad photo.  I just wanted to get the photo taken and start preparing for the working week ahead.

I just wanted to drop in and share a card that I made for the current CAS(E) this Sketch challenge.  The patterned paper I used here reminded me of an older style skateboard so I think I fits in really well with the overall theme of the card.

Heartfelt Wishes

Hope you all had a fabulous weekend!

I'm popping in tonight to share my entry into WP9 Monday Mood Board #8.  This will be my first time entering this challenge as this is another blog that I just recently stumbled across (today to be exact!).  I have a few of their stamp stamp sets and dies and I just love them.  In this card I used the Folk Art Florals stamps and dies.  That little bird house is just adorable.

I used the current sketch from retrosketch #59 for the layout of the card and will also be playing along with that challenge.

Tiddly Inks Challenge #107

Hi all,

Just another quick post tonight to share with you the card that I am entering into Tiddly Inks current challenge, distress, emboss or stitch.  I decided to use the embossing technique.  The embossing is a little hard to see in the photo because the effect is so subtle, which is the look I was going for.  I used this impression plate from Papertrey Ink.  I love using this plate when you just need that little something to finish a card off.

  

This will also be my second entry into this week's Simon Says Stamp challenge.

CAS(E) This Sketch #22

Hi All,

I hope everyone had a great weekend.  It was my daughter's 18th birthday on Friday so needless to say it was a very big weekend!  Just a quick post tonight to share with you all a card I've made for the latest CAS(E) this Sketch challenge.  I have just recently come across this challenge blog and I'm hoping to play along regularly.

I've also decided to play along in this weeks Simon Says Stamp challenge.  They are celebrating their 4th birthday and have some great prizes up for grabs!

Anything But

Long time no post.....again!

I hope that everyone had a fantastic Easter.  My hubby has been working away for the last couple of weeks but flew home for the Easter long weekend.  Now he's off again until the end of April so this will just be a quick post as I have to get up at the crack of dawn tomorrow to get him to the airport.

Tiddly Inks current challenge is anything but a card.  I quickly knocked up these cute little personalised tags and stuck them to the little ones' Easter eggs.  I love the nice bright colours, perfect for Easter I think.

Well I better get myself to bed, 4:00 am start tomorrow....yuck!
